England - Lake District to North York Moors

Mount Grace Priory is at the foot of the Cleveland Hills in North Yorkshire. It is operated by English Heritage and owned by the National Trust. This priory dates back to the 1300s. Monks lived here as hermits in single cells only coming together in the chapel.
